POLICY & OBJECTIVES

POLICY  OF TURKISH DENTAL ASSOCIATION

Turkish Dental Association, aware of  his social responsibility, arranges several activities with the  Dental Chambers, Ministry of Health and other Ministries together with the commercial representatives of the sector in order to provide our public oral health status to reach international acceptable norms  on the national level.

Turkish Dental Association is in co-operation with the other  Professional associations and social NGOs in order to provide that our country and society is ruled in conformity with the modern law and  the personal rights and freedom of the people are respected within the frame of the authority given by law.

Turkish Dental Association plans and arranges the scientific programs on the  local, national and international levels in order to inform the dentists regarding the professional and technological developments.

OBJECTIVES OF  TURKISH DENTAL ASSOCIATION

• to  improve and support the dentistry as a profession

• to  assist the colleagues in professional matters and defend their rights

•  to respond to the common requests of the colleagues

• to  maintain and improve professional, ethical and legal aspects of dentistry

•  to contribute to the improvement of the quality of public oral-dental health

•  to support scientific research activities through published material, congress organizations, award programmes and projects

• to put continuing dental education programmes into practice for the colleagues and assist them  to keep themselves up-to-date regarding the dental profession.

• to improve the oral-dental health concern and interest of the public

• to contibute to and comply with the intemational  voice of dentistry
